In case of troubles downloading subtitles with bazarr, please follow these first steps:
- Make sure you have installed the latest version, you can see the last published version and installation instructions in the bazarr wiki
- Double check your username and password, make sure you have not entered the email in the username field
Check your API token
You can check if your account can be authenticated on the API gatweway by signin in your account on opensubtitles.com, go to your profile and click on the "test" link next to your API token
if this raises a red error message, please contact us and we'll fix the account for you.

If this doesn't solve the problem
We cannot help with the installation itself, for this please refer to the bazarr discord server, but we can check if something is wrong with your account and the API.
For this, please enable the application debug and send us the log file

You can find the location for your database and log file in the following location depending where and how you installed it.
Windows Installation: %programdata%\Bazarr
Dockers: /config/db and /config/log
Source and other Installation: data directory inside bazarr root directory
